We are excited to unveil version 7.8 for DataForge and IntelliTrend Mobile, coming with new features, performance upgrades, and user-requested improvements to make your experience smoother, faster and more enjoyable.
Overhauled DataForge reporting
Revamped report configuration
We listened to your feedback and re-worked the report configuration to overall simplify the whole process. The new revamped report configuration page makes it easier than ever to add and customize widgets to your report. In order to improve and simplify the configuration process, we have removed the separate widget configuration page, allowing for a more intuitive experience. Additionally, widgets are now saved automatically upon creation and completion of their configuration, ensuring a more efficient workflow.
Rendering & downloading reports without a subscription
In the past, generating, rendering, and viewing reports was a cumbersome and time-consuming process. It involved setting up a subscription, waiting for the report to render, checking your inbox, and finally opening the report – making it especially frustrating when testing report configurations.
With our latest release, that tedious workflow is a thing of the past. There’s no need to subscribe or wait for emails anymore. Now, you can instantly generate any report with a single click. Just head to the report configuration page, hit the Render now button, and download your report directly from DataForge as soon as it’s ready – perfect for previewing report configurations and verifying their layout and content before sending them out to other subscribers.
New report widgets & PDF improvements
This release introduces four new report widgets, expanding your reporting capabilities. (You can find an introduction of the new widgets below.)
All these new widgets fully support PDF rendering. Additionally, we have expanded our PDF rendering support to include the busy triggers widget, long problem widget, and alert log widget.
We have also enhanced PDF rendering for all widgets, improving organization and increasing information density for clearer and more detailed reports.
Auditlog widget
Export and analyze audit log entries from your Zabbix server within the specified reporting interval. This widget provides detailed insights into user actions, configuration changes, and permission modifications. You can apply filters to isolate specific action types – such as user logins, item updates, or host changes – and exclude system-generated events to focus only on human activity. With this level of detail you can investigate incidents and maintain transparency in operations.
Refer to the documentation for more information about this new widget.
Mean time to recovery (MTTR) widget
Visualize and assess the average time it takes for your monitored systems to recover from a problem state. The MTTR widget calculates the duration between activation of a trigger and return to an ok state, offering valuable insight into the efficiency of your incident resolution processes.
Refer to the documentation for more information about this new widget.
Mean time to interaction (MTTI) widget
Measure how quickly your team acknowledges or begins interacting with a problem once an event occurs. The MTTI widget highlights the response efficiency of your team by tracking the elapsed time between the generation of an event and the first user interaction – such as acknowledgment, comment, or manual closing. This metric is key to understanding and optimizing your alerting strategy and ensuring faster attention to critical issues.
Refer to the documentation for more information about this new widget.
Trigger state widget
Analyze the frequency and duration of triggers in a problem state over the reporting period. This widget offers a comprehensive view of how often and how long your triggers were in a problem state. This widget surfaces triggers with frequent or prolonged problem states, enabling you to detect noisy or misconfigured conditions that could undermine monitoring accuracy or system reliability.

Introducing DataForge internal S3 storage
We are glad to introduce the new DataForge internal S3 storage for all DataForge Cloud customers. You no longer need your own S3 object storage in order to use DataForge Reporting or AI features. With the new internal storage, we are providing a easy-to-configure S3 object storage you do not have to manage yourself.
Select the new S3 internal storage as your S3 storage mode for your Zabbix server upon Zabbix server creation or on the Zabbix server configuration page.
You can set a custom storage quota for your Zabbix servers to manage S3 utilization, with a minimum requirement of 1 gigabyte. However, there’s no need to worry about storage space – DataForge AI and Reporting files are highly optimized and compressed, typically consuming only a minimal amount of storage, often just a few megabytes, kilobytes, or even bytes.
New graph widgets on dashboard
For both Zabbix-Direct and DataForge users, we’re excited to introduce the new host graph widget on the user dashboard. This widget allows you to easily add any Zabbix host graph directly to your IntelliTrend Mobile or DataForge dashboard, making it easy to keep an eye on important metrics. It also serves as a quick access point, so you can jump straight into the data that matters most.
In addition, we’ve added the ability to render graphs in the existing item widget. With this update, you can quickly view the historical data of the configured item right from the widget.
Go ahead and add your favorite host graphs now to the Zabbix-Direct or DataForge User dashboard or enable the graph rendering option for your item widgets in the widget configuration.
